Wrap-up

Today the cast met for one last time to strike the set and to talk about the show.  The Beaver community discussed the show in advisory today, and we shared with each other how the discussion went.  We talked about audience reactions to the show and how this experience affected each of us.  Here is a video of our final reflection of the process:

Community Art Project

The last scene in the play posed the question "What are you going to do to make a positive change in the world?" and the cast each gave their personal answer.  This weekend we invited our audiences to take part in a community art project by adding their own answers to the question.  Here are some photos:

Show Weekend

2 of the 3 performances of The Boal Original were sold out, and all were very well received by the audience.  After the opening night performance on Thursday, the school was buzzing on Friday!  The tickets for that night sold out at lunch time within 2 minutes.
The cast and crew is very proud of their work.

This show looks very cool and similar to ours in that it is based on world issues.  Cast reunion anyone?
